Uttarakhand Open University was established with an aim to disseminate knowledge and skills through distance learning with introduction of flexible and innovative methods of education to ensure ‘independent learning’.

The academic programmes have been designed to congregate the needs of students, employers and the regional as well as national community. Through ongoing curricula development and extensive course offerings, Uttarakhand Open University adheres to ensure quality education for our students. The Alliance

Foreign Trade Development Centre (FTDC), in alliance with Uttarakhand Open University (UOU) now offers three University Recognized Programmes. These are:

• MBA in Retail Management
• Diploma in Retail Management
• Certificate in Retail Management

These programmes are offered at UOU Study Centes.
