The Alliance
The Sikkim Manipal University, recognized by the Ministry of Human Resources Development and University Grants Commission, was set up in 1995 in partnership between the Manipal Education and Medical Group and the Government of Sikkim with the primary objective of imparting quality education to students and working professionals. The Manipal Education and Medical Group is one of India's premier education and healthcare services providers, providing quality education for more than five decades until now. It is the nucleus of 53 educational institutions with over 1,00,000 admissions.
Foreign Trade Development Centre (FTDC), in alliance with Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) now offers two University Recognized Programmes. These are:
